Programming for the Application (FG)

For continuous processes, such as laser, water-jet, flame-cutting and plasma, the programming of parts is comparatively simple. For this reason, many ASCO users do not make use of the interactive capability, but rather rely completely on automatic programming with ASCO-NC. As soon as a number of material-dependent and/or machine-related parameters have been defined, ASCO-NC automatically considers a whole set of cutting features, like

The typical interactive tasks, which can be performed for the programming in the cutting sector quickly and reliably with only a few mouse-clicks, include

For portal machines, the programming of tasks as a list or directory batch is the capability most commonly used. Here any number of programs are calculated in the background, without user intervention, and without the need for you to view the graphic representation in each case. Each part program that is generated can be examined afterwards. A log report shows the user which part should be viewed.
